YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Grief Resources

Individual counseling, local grief support groups, and online websites may help in working through your grief.

Sansone Funeral Home is pleased to offer free, monthly, in-person Grief Group led by the Rev. Kelly Thibeault.

A safe time and place to care for yourself as you find comfort in a community that journeys with you through your grief.

Rev. Kelly is the pastor of the First Congregational Church, UCC, on Old Post Road in North Attleboro, where she has served for the last 15 years. During that time, she has also worked with hundreds of grieving families through Sansone Funeral Home and is a Certified Grief Educator.

Grief Group at Sansone meets in person, once a month, and offers a safe and welcoming place for those who are grieving to come together and share their experiences with others who are going through a similar situation.

Grief Group can offer numerous benefits, including:

  • Feeling less isolated and alone in your grief.
  • Gaining understanding and new ideas from others who have similar experiences.
  • Receiving emotional validation and understanding.
  • Learning coping mechanisms and strategies from other group members.
  • Building a sense of community and belonging.

Grief doesn’t end, but it changes. Grief Group doesn’t promise to stop your grieving, but it does offer you are safe place to talk, share, listen, or just be.

Know that whoever you are, and wherever you are on your grief journey, you are welcome here!
