Jillian, Olivia and Bethany,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. Please at this time, find some comfort in all those fun memories you have shared and do know that the world is a better place for those of us that had the pleasure to have known him. He still lives on in all of us!
As you may recall, your dad was a very good childhood friend of mine. I've had many fun memories growing up with Mike. He and I were " Everyday lab partners", we would always explore and learn (and of course read! :~) about the science world around us. Going to the Crystal caves looking for specimens, hunting down fossils in an area we knew, go clamming, fishing, go to the many nearby farms and check out their animals and of course having our own flocks of chickens! Mike was my best buddy during the early years of our lives. May his positive influence continue to have a guiding hand through your lives and be sure to pass those on to your children. He will always be watching and helping you.

Your dad was a wonderful man who loved you girls with all his heart, and it's horrifically unjust that you will be without him. To Jen, Allyson, and Aidan, this world is a great deal emptier without Mike, and I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
