Mrs. Zena L. (Savino) Trudell

Mrs. Zena L. (Savino) Trudell, age 100 formerly of King Philip Avenue, Bristol, died Monday, April 13, 2020 at the Crestwood Nursing Home, Warren. She was the wife of the late Rudolph N. Trudell, her husband of 51 years, who preceded her in death in October 1996.

Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Capone) Savino. She was an assembly and then office worker for the former P.F. Industries and Bristol Manufacturing Company for 38 years, retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Bristol.
A homemaker at heart, Zena, above all else, loved her family, loved cooking, baking and working in her yard.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah L. Sylvia (Ronald) of Swansea, MA, three grandsons, Edward Trudell, Jr., (Lisa) of Claremont, FL, Jason Trudell and Jeremy Trudell, (Stacey) both of Warwick, four granddaughters, Jennifer Metts, Hernando, FL, Jessica Zimmerman (Henry), of Plymouth, MA, Danielle Fox (Gregory) of Bristol, and Crystal St. Pierre (Bryan) of Swansea, MA, several great grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, a brother, Domenic Savino (Catherine) of Bristol and a sister, Rosanna Heisey, in New York. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard N. Trudell (Debra) and Edward R. Trudell (Alice), two brothers, Joseph Savino, Jr. and Gabriel Savino.

Funeral services and burial will be private. A Memorial Mass will be held at a future day and time in St. Mary’s Church, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
