Susan A. (Warburton) Camera, 65, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those she loved on May 12, 2020 after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Providence, RI on November 8, 1954 and raised in Cranston, she was the youngest of four children of the late John and Concetta (Coletta) Warburton. Susan graduated from Cranston High School West in 1972. She was employed for many years as a child care worker, a job which was her passion. She especially enjoyed the time she spent taking care of infants.
Susan was a loving wife and mother. She leaves behind her husband, Joseph P. Camera of 41 years, her daughter Kathryn and granddog Ruby all of Bristol. She was the sister of Sandra L. Pitocchi of West Warwick, John D. Warburton and his wife Diana of North Kingstown and the late Carol A. Wirick. She also leaves behind her niece, Jessica S. Warburton, her husband Jason Hershcopf of Maryland, her nephew David M. Warburton and his wife Joanna of West Kingston as well as several great nieces, a great nephew and several cousins.
Susan was an avid reader who loved theater, the Berkshires, the Cape and travels in Italy. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Her family would especially like to thank those who cared for her during her illness.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Visiting hours were respectfully omitted.
