Mrs. Palmira K. "Pam" (Enos) Faria

August 16, 1935 ~ September 6, 2023 (age 88) 88 Years Old

Tribute

Mrs. Palmira K. “Pam” (Enos) Faria, age 88, formerly of Hope Street and Metacom Avenue, Bristol, went home to her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton, FL.
She was the wife of the late Hermes P. “Doc” “Adams” Faria, who preceded her in death in June of 2005. Born in Providence and raised in Warren, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Serpa) Enos. She was a resident of Bristol for many years.
A graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1953, she was first a Bank Teller and Customer Service Representative at the former Industrial National Bank and then for most of her career was employed in the office of Bristol County Water Authority, famously never taking a sick day, for a total of 6,399 days of service continually to the Water Authority.
A Communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bristol and St. Francis Parish in Parrish, FL, she was a devout Roman Catholic, volunteering as Eucharistic Minister to all the area’s nursing homes and shut-ins for many years, as well as a feast and bazaar volunteer at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for many years. She loved to volunteer, help out and worship at the former Barrington Carmelite Monastery in Barrington. She was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society and Nocturnal Adoration Society and was a former Regent and member of the former Hope Circle, Daughters of Isabella. One of her fondest memories was traveling to the Holy Land with her church friends. She loved working in her home’s gardens and attending her grandsons ballgames, cheering them on. Had a great love for her late dog, Hermie and just loved helping others and following her Lord Jesus Christ.
Pam is survived by her son, Wayne P. LaChance and his wife Liz Dias of Parrish, FL, two grandsons, Mitchell R. LaChance of Rehoboth, MA and Matthew C. LaChance of Boca Raton, FL, two step-grandsons, Nathan Dias of Bradenton, FL and Aaron Dias of Pawtucket, a brother, John Enos (Dottie) of Bristol and a sister, Clara Greenwell of Largo, FL, her nieces, MaryAnn and Shirly, and Nephews, Edward, Paul, Phillip and Gary and also her brother-in-law, John Faria and his wife Patricia of Bristol.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Donald Enos and her favorite aunt Clara Serpa.
