Mary Emily Vincent passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on January 5. She would have been 91 years old next month.

Mary was the cherished and adored mother of Barbara West, Janice Vincent and Brenda Vincent Frank. She has three grandchildren: Wendy (predeceased), Bob, and Jessica, and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Arthur and Jessie Sousa, and her parents Jesse R. Sousa and Rosa (Costa) Sousa.  She was the widow of Albert Vincent.

Mom was born in Bristol, and although her marriage took her to Tiverton, always considered Bristol her home. She was our hero and role model.  Mom sacrificed a great deal, and endured many hardships, to raise three young children alone after being widowed at age 35.  She was funny, kind, strong, independent, and fierce. We know that she will continue watching over all of us.  We will honor and miss her until we meet again.
