Tribute

Mary Ann (Comazzi) Bruno,74, passed away Tuesday September 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was the loving wife of John W. Bruno with whom she spent the last 54 wonderful years.

Born in Brooklyn, New York Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Louis and Viola (Sliwinski) Comazzi. She was also predeceased by her siblings Victoria Viola, Madeline “Madge” Kenny, and Edward Comazzi.

Mary Ann and John moved to Bristol 43 years ago. For many years Mary Ann worked in the accounting department at Levington Manufacturing. After retiring Mary Ann took great pride and joy in volunteering as an Assistant Teacher at Raggedy Ann’s Preschool. Although not originally from the area Mary Ann quickly embraced the annual Fourth of July festivities here in town. For the past 43 years she celebrated the 4th of July with an annual gathering with friends and family at her home. She will be missed by those who attended her gatherings. Mary loved to care for those around her. Her eggplant parmesan was always a crowd pleaser and no one ever left empty handed.

In addition to her husband John Mary will be missed by all who came in contact with her but especially her cousin Bobby Jiven (his daughter Holly) and her best friend Karen Alegria Cook (her daughters Katarina and Meghan).
