Mark Bonjorno, 88, of Bristol passed away peacefully at the Rhode Island Veterans Home on Saturday February 13, 2021. He is survived by Patricia L. (Chamberlain) Bonjorno, his loving wife of 65 years.

Born in New York City, New York, he was the son of the late Martha (Cannova) and Charles Bonjorno.

After high school, Mark went on to serve our nation honorably as a member of the U.S Navy. Mark worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Officer for many years. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bristol. While living in Goffstown, NH, for 40 years, he was active coaching Little League, a Boy Scout Leader, and a proud member of the Gaelic Society. He played a significant role at St. Lawrence Church, coordinating and training readers and assisting the priests in many other ways.

In addition to his beloved wife Pat, Mark also leaves behind his two sons: Chuck Bongiorno and his wife Laurel and Paul Bongiorno and his financee, Laurie; his granddaughter: Brittany Oxier and West; and his great grandchildren: Riley and Joshua Oxier; and his brother Vince Bonjorno and Jackie. He is also remembered by many extended family and friends.

In death, Mark is reunited with his parents.

A private Memorial service will be held at the chapel at Colt State Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Activities Department, Rhode Island Veterans Home, 480 Metacom Ave, Bristol, RI, 02809.
