Louise M. (Falugo) Casemira, 89, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts on Friday November 20, 2020. She was the wife of the late Antone Casemira for 29 years. Born in Bristol, RI, she was the daughter of the late Fannie (Proto) and Charles J. Falugo.
Louise graduated from St. Mary’s-Bayview Academy, class of 1950. She was a Past Vice Regent for Hope Circle #70 of the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bristol where she was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society. Louise was a long time member of the Leonardo DaVinci Lodge of the Sons of Italy.
Louise was a very joyous person. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She always had a joke to tell and a smile on her face. She was a fond friend of animals and especially adored her cat Riley, with whom spent the last of her years enjoying his company .
Louise is survived by her children: Peter A. Casemira and Paula A. McCarthy (Kenneth Potts); her grandchildren: Jennifer Sullivan and Matthew McCarthy; and her great grandchildren Toby Sullivan and Matthew McCarthy Jr. She also leaves behind her brother Charles J. Falugo, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Wednesday November 25, 2020 inside Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
