Ms. Judith Lynne Campo, age 64 of Belcourt Avenue, Bristol, died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, RI and raised and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Vivian (Oliver) Campo and the late Frank J. Campo, Jr. and his wife, Rita C. (Cordeiro) Campo of Warren.
Judith received her Associates Degree in Medical Billing Coding from Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA. Judith was the Head of Shipping and Receiving for the former Furon Corp – St. Gobain on Metacom Avenue, Bristol for 17 years. She had been for the past two years a Volunteer for the Warren Senior Center and had a special coffee group, with friends from the center, at the Coffee Depot in Warren often. She loved to knit, crochet and made many wonderful hand crafted things for The Sea Star Store in downtown Bristol and belong to a knitting group for many years. Judith was well known for her talent in making signs for Manny Rego’s Coffee Shop on Wood Street.
She is survived, in addition to her mother, by three children; John A. Campo, Elizabeth L. Campo, and Mathew J. Campo and his wife, Jessica, all of Bristol, five grandchildren, Madison, Justina A., Mathew J. Jr., Brandon and Jeremy Campo, her siblings, Doreen Campo and Frank Keith Campo (Liz) of Bristol, Susan Desrosiers of Barrington, Leida Picciano (Mark) of Middletown and Michelle Campo of Warren, nieces and nephews, Frank K. Jr., Brittney E. Victoria M. and Ashley Campo, Manny and Kimberly Mendonca, Jason and Joshua Desrosiers and Anthony Andrade and her cousins, Jane, Stacey, Eddie, Ricky and Charlie Walker.
Funeral services and burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Judith L. Campo Memorial Fund, C/O Mathew J. Campo, 17 Saint Elizabeth Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
