Guilherme S. Silva, 90, of Bristol, passed away on July 2, 2017. He was the son of the late Jose Sousa Silva, Sr. and Conceicao Silva. He was the husband of Alzira (Horta) Silva; they were married for 64 years.

Born in Fenais Daluz, Azores, Guilherme was a proud member of the Portuguese Army. He was employed by American Tourister for over 20 years and he was an avid gardener.

Besides his loving wife, Guilherme is survived by his children; Joseph Silva, Sr. of Central Falls, Lenore Iorio and her husband Robert of Cranston and Connie Gaudio and her husband Vincent of Spring Hill, FL. Guilherme also leaves behind his three grandchildren; Michelle and Joshua Gaudio and Joseph Silva, Jr.
He was predeceased by all of his siblings; his sister Conceicao Silva, and three brothers; Laurino, Manuel and Jose Sousa Silva, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM, on Monday, July 10, 2017, at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St. Bristol. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut St. Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
