Gina L. Stanzione

Gina Stanzione, 61, of Swansea, MA passed away on Feb. 7, 2023 at Brigham and
Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She was born in Bristol, RI to Norma (Horton) Stanzione and the late Sabato Stanzione.

Gina worked for the state of Rhode Island for twenty-one years. She worked as a CNA at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol where she brought smiles to the faces of elderly and disabled veterans. She then worked as a Customer Service Aide at the Department of Human Services in Warwick. A lifelong student, Gina obtained a Bachelor’s degree from UMass Dartmouth and took a variety of courses at Fisher College, CCRI, and Bristol Community College. She took classes in sailing, golfing, and violin. She enjoyed gardening, reading cozy mystery novels, writing short stories and poetry, and was an avid lover of llamas and goat yoga.

Gina was preceded in death by her father Sabato Stanzione, her brother Stephen
Stanzione, and her life partner Abel Perez.

She is survived by her mother Norma Stanzione and her brother Stewart Stanzione. She also leaves behind nephews Cameron Stanzione and Cody Stanzione; a niece: Stephanie Hudon; and step-daughters Sydney Perez and Jerrica Berger.
