I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. Having lost my father a few years back, I understand the loss and hope that all of the nice stories, funny memories and his lively spirit will help you through this very difficult time. Please contact me! I would love to see each one of you or at least be back in communication with you.
.... with love and friendship, deri

Very sorry to read that Fred passed away. He was an amazing and outstanding human being. Often he came to Town Council meetings to represent clients, which he did like a tiger, with great success. And with humor. His smile was like none other..
So when my wife needed a law fighter to defend her mother against mean people running a big hospital in RI, Fred was the man who came to mind. He had empathy and was effective.
To his daughters, please accept my condolences. I have met a few of you while living close to your mother's old home. He must have been a wonderful father, because his grace did shine in your friendliness and kindnesses (the fox terrier gifts --thank you).
Although he leaves an empty hole in your heart, please take comfort knowing that in many ways he will always be with you, having shaped the way you see the world, and how you laugh.
And in time, in quiet moments of life, you will be blessed with words of wisdom that come from we know not where, but you will know.
Take care, be well.

Fred was a good friend to my late father-in-law, Hank Smith. For many years we all knew that if Fred told Daddy it was "okay", then it was! I am sorry for your loss, he was a grand man!
