Mr. Edward J. Bisbano, 72 of Clarner Street, Pawtucket and formerly of Bristol, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a long battle with Cancer. He was the husband of Rosemary (Silva) Bisbano, his wife of 46 years. Born in Fall River, MA and raised in Bristol, he was a son of Theresa I. (Chauvin) Bisbano of Bristol and the late Joseph J. Bisbano, Jr. A graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1964, following graduation he served in the US Navy as Machinist Mate Second Class during the Vietnam War serving abroad the USS Northampton. He was a service manager for Petro Oil Company of Providence for many years, retiring in 2015. He was a communicant of Saint John Paul II Parish – St. Cecilia’s Church in Pawtucket. He was a member of the American Legion, the LaBella Sicilia Society in Bristol, enjoyed Cars, Auto Racing and working in Pit Crews for local racers. Ed’s love was his wife, daughters and grandchildren, spending time gardening in his yard, time at the pool with family and friends. He is survived, in addition to his wife and mother, by two daughters; Angela M. Bourgault (Jack) of Burrillville, Jennifer L. Bisbano of Pawtucket, four grandchildren; Jacob Briggs, Anthony Bisbano, Alan Briggs and Kylee Bourgault, two sisters; Jeanne Bisbano (Jack Hargate) of Auburn, CA, Theresa A. Hefner (Bryan) of Kailua, Hawaii, two brothers; Michael J. Bisbano (Cherrilynn) of East Greenwich and Joseph J. Bisbano, III (Jillian Amato) of Bristol. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Friday, April 13, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
