David Enos, 80, of Bristol passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. He was the son of the late Manuel and Julia (Gonsalves) Enos.
A lifelong Bristolian, he was a member of the Colt Memorial High School class of 1961. He worked for many years at R&J Manufacturing in Warren and was currently employed at Roger William University.
David was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Bristol where he served as an usher for over 20 years. David was an active member of the community and was the current Commander of the AMVETS Post #37 in Bristol, past Bristol Veterans Council President, and a member of the 4th of July Committee. He was also a member of the BPOE Lodge #1860, the Elks Club, and the Cup Defenders.
He is survived by his siblings; Richard Enos (Patricia) of Bristol, Claudia Enos-Castillo of Sarasota, FL, Keith Enos (Patricia) of Bristol; his sister-in-law Margaret Enos; his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his friends.
David was pre-deceased by his parents and his brothers Manuel and William Enos.
Visiting Hours will be held at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral service starting from Sansone on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol, RI.
