Claudine Fales

Claudine M. (MacDowell) Fales, 97, of Bristol passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was the wife of the late Frank M. Fales.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts Claudine grew up in Warren RI and was the daughter of the late Frank and Maude (Strange) MacDowell. She was a graduate of Warren High School, class of 1942. Although she lived in Bristol for over 50 years, Claudine was quick and proud to tell people she grew up in Warren.

Claudine worked at Providence Washington Insurance and later at Rogers Free Library retiring as assistant librarian after 34 years. She enjoyed reading, knitting, jig saw puzzles and the wide array of people that passed through the family farm stand. Claudine was member of the Eastern Star and the Warren Methodist Church.

Claudine is survived by her children Frank Fales (Jenna), Donald G. Fales (Peggy), and Marion Tinkham (Spencer).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to "Friends of the Rogers Free Library",  PO Box 538, Bristol RI 02809.
