Angela N. (Corona) Pirri, 90, of Bristol passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 with her family at her side. She was the wife of the late Frank D. “Butch” Pirri.
Born in Cranston, RI, she was the daughter of the late Nazzareno and Adelia (Natalizia) Corona.
Angela was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society. Angela enjoyed quilting, reading, and baking. What she loved most though was spending time with her family and friends.
Angela is survived by her sons: Frank J. Pirri (Susan), James Pirri (Penelope), Robert E. Pirri (Julie); her grandchildren: Jennifer Ingemi (Matthew), Alexander Pirri (Carly), Laura Gould (Anthony), Joshua Pirri, Jacob Pirri, Angela Pirri; her great grandchildren: Owen Pirri, Olivia Pirri, Ashton Gould, Leia Gould, Nicholas Ingemi; her sister: Lucille Drury; and many extended relatives and friends.
Angela was pre-deceased by her husband Frank, her parents, and her brother Vincent Corona.
Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 2-5 PM at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, from Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, RI at 9 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol, RI. Burial will follow St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Visiting Nurse Home and Hospice or to St. Judes Hospital.
