Mrs. Alice M. (Coyne) Cirillo, age 92 formerly of Franklin Street, Bristol, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Manor, 1 Dawn Hill Road, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Jerry M. Cirillo, who preceded her in death in July of 1998. Born and raised in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Michael H. and Martha Anne (Howe) Coyne. Alice was a secretary in the finance department of the Bristol Town Hall for 12 years, retiring in 1987. She previously worked at the Bristol County Medical Center for over 10 years and started her career teaching Kindergarten at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School for a few years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, a member of the Rosary and Altar Society and the Nocturnal Adoration Society and was a past president and member of the former Legion of Mary for over 15 years at the church. She was a member of the International Sunshine Society # 183 of Bristol, member of the Benjamin Church Manor Tenants Association, the Mosaico CDC, where she served on their Board for a few years and a volunteer at the Herreshoff Marine Museum for a number of years. She is survived by two sons; Jerry M. Cirillo of Westwood, MA and Paul D. Cirillo (Jodie) of Saginaw, MI, three grandchildren; Nissa R. and Michael D. Cirillo, both of Saginaw, MI and Thomas M. Cirillo of Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and several sisters and a brother. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street Bristol, Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Monday morning only from 9:00-10:00 AM.
