William Raposa

William Raposa, age 60, 8 Easterbrooks Ave., Bristol, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, he was the husband of Cindy (Duggan) Raposa, his wife of 21 years. Born in Fall River, MA and a lifelong resident of Bristol, a son of the late Joseph and Rita (Botelho) Raposa. William was a former Cook at the Ramada Inn. He was a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronald J. Raposa and Joseph W. Raposa, two sisters, Gina Campbell and Rita Kaus, all of Bristol and four grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son William Raposa, Jr., and three brothers, Joseph, Manuel and Anthony Raposa. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Thursday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting hours Wednesday 4:00-8:00 PM.
