Wilda Davis

Wilda Davis, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Davis, Jr. for 64 years before his passing in 2016. Born in White Plains, NY, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Yvonne (Couchaine) Bazinet. She lived in Tiverton, RI for 57 years. During that time, she was the owner of Davis Press, formerly known as Ideal Press. For the last 5 years she lived in Bristol RI and worked part time at Total Fitness in Bristol, helping with the Day care Services until 2020. In May of 2022 she moved into Atria in Barrington,RI and enjoyed the many new friends she made right up until her passing.She was a cheerful, energetic person well into her 89th year and was a pleasure to be around. Wilda is survived by her children: Cynthia Nickerson and Edward J. Davis, III (Judy); her grandchildren: Neil and Joshua Davis; and extended family and Friends. She enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with her family and walking her beloved dog Chewie. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, her daughter Sharon St Hilaire, her grandson Nicholas Davis, her parents, and her siblings: Elaine Ferreira and Raymond Bazinet. Memorial services will be private.
