Virginia Sue White

Mrs. Virginia Sue (Cicero) White, age 75, of 53 Sowams Drive, Bristol, died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late James L. White. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Paratore) Cicero. Mrs. White was a cashier for the former Almacs Supermarket, formerly in Bristol and she had also worked for the Converse Rubber Co., formerly in Bristol. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society, the 16th of July Feast Committee and a former booth chairperson, the Nocturnal Adoration Society, the former Mothers Club of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and worked at the former Bingo at the church for a number of years. She was a member of the La Bella Sicilia Society, Bristol. Survivors include a son, James L. White, Jr. and his wife Kate of Half Moon Bay, CA, three daughters, Pamela L Greenstein and her husband Wayne of Roslyn, NY, Sara Jane Vollaro and her companion Vincent Soboleski, Cindy Larson and her husband John, all of Bristol, two sisters, Katherine Sears and her husband David of East Providence, Etta Chantre and her husband Richard, of South Lakeland, FL. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by Four brothers Anthony Cicero, Charles Cicero, Frank Cicero and Salvatore Cicero Two sisters Josephine Rayback and Nancy Cabral Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Saturday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting Hours Friday, 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Rescue Squad, PO Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
