Mr. Thomas W. Dollarhide, age 57, of 9 Etelvina Court, Bristol and formerly of Tiverton, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia C. (Guzman) Dollarhide, his wife of 9 years. Born in Pueblo, CO he was the son of Lois (Dipert) Dollarhide of Mohawk, TN. A resident of Bristol for 7 years, he previously resided in Tiverton for many years. Mr. Dollarhide served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Software Engineer forPurvis Systems, Inc. of Middletown for 32 years. He was a 1986 graduate of Roger Williams University with a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Green Valley Country Club of Portsmouth and he was highly involved in Tiverton Youth Basketball and Baseball for many years. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by four children; Todd and Michael Dollarhide, both of Fall River, MA, Amy Kosa of Tiverton and Meghan Dollarhide of Lakeville, MA, two step-children; David H. Martinez and his wife Jamie of Johnston and Silvia A. Costa and her husband Michael of Rehoboth, MA, six grandchildren; Ashley Rego, Daniel Medeiros, Charles “Buddy” Kosa, Zachary, Kaylee and Ethan Dollarhide, four sisters, Cynthia “Susie” Baltosser, Carla Burton, Brenda Baca and Pam Benedum and four brothers; Carl, Frank, Joel and Noah Dollarhide and his faithful dog, Nika. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, July 21, 2008 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Sunday, July 20, from 2:00-5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245 or go to www.pancan.org.
