Theresa M. Kation

Mrs. Theresa M. (Plante) Kation, age 77, of Benjamin Church Manor, 1014 Hope Street, Bristol, died Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Kation, Sr. Born in Providence, RI she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Eva (Forrest) Plante. A resident of Bristol for 47 years, she previously resided in Warren. Mrs. Kation was a production worker for Bristol Manufacturing Company, formerly in Bristol for 13 years, retiring in 1980. She is survived by a daughter, Frances Jo Esteves of Belleview, FL, five grandchildren; Jody Hoffman, of Bristol, John, Marcy, Mary and Dale Esteves, all of Belleview, FL, seven great grandchildren; Michael, Breeanna, Rebecca, Austin, Kylie, Cody and A.J., two sisters, Irene Mello of Warren, Alice Marchand, of Bristol, and two brothers, Wilfred Plante, Jr. of Bristol and Raymond Plante of Barrington. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph M. Kation, Jr. and four brothers, Arthur, Leo, Albert and Robert Plante and a sister, Doris Ramos. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial was private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
