T. A. White

T.A. White, age 82 of 770 Metacom Ave, Bristol, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Grace (Palumbo) White, his wife of 52 years. Born in Tennessee, he wasa son of the late Will and Flora (Rains) White. T.A. worked as an operating engineer in the US Navy before retiring as a Machinist Mate First Class after 20 years serving during both WWII and the Korean War. Healso retired from Roger Williams University and previously he worked at RI Hospital, Brown University and Providence Gravure.He was a life member of theAnthony C. Almeida Post #237, V.F.W. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, of Tim A. Kemmy, (David), N. Diane Davis, (Robert) both of Bristol, Jacquelyn Reardon (William) of East Hampton, CT, eight grandchildren; Nancy Deblois; Robert, Ryan and Monica Davis; Matthew White, Michael Kemmy, Michele Morris and Jacqueline Reardon. Also survived by five great grandchildren and his dog Mei Ling.Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting Hours Tuesday Morning 9-10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775,or to St.Marys Church “Restoring Her Beauty Campaign”, 330 Wood Street, both Bristol, RI 02809.
