Susan L. Mckay

Susan L. (Wright) McKay, 75, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of William L. McKay for 52 years before her passing. Born in Cumberland, RI, she was the daughter of the late James and Edna (Smith) Wright. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church in Warren for most of her adult life. A simple woman, Susan dedicated herself to caring for others. She worked for AmCam in Warren for many years. She also worked as a caregiver at Home Instead Senior Care and at the Bay Spring Village at Atria in Portsmouth. In addition to her husband William; her two sons: Todd and Jarrod McKay; she is also survived by her sister Marylin Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Edna (Smith) Wright; and her brother: James Wright. A Visiting Hour will be held from 9:00 AM 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Her funeral service will be held at Sansone Funeral Home at 10:00 AM.
