Mr. Stephen S. DePasquale, age 82, of 10 Wood Street, Bristol, died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Sylvia S. (De Tora) DePasquale, his wife of 54 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Filomena (Scolaro) DePasquale. A graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1947, he attended Branson Missouri College. Mr. DePasquale served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a volunteer for several years at the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen. He loved Carpentry,Woodworking, Cooking and Photography. He is survived in addition to his wife by three sons, Stephen A. DePasquale and his wife Sharon, of Johnston, James L. DePasquale and his wife Lynn, of Warren, Jeffrey K. DePasquale of Bristol, two daughters, Mary Ann Panzarella and Linda A. Dean and her husband Mark, all of Bristol, a brother, Philip J. DePasquale of Warren and a sister, Carmela A. Vaccaro of Bristol and eight grandchildren, Regina Rose DePasquale, Domenick M. and Stephanie Panzarella, Stephen J. and Felicia M. DePasquale, Olivia A. and Colt S. Dean and James L. DePasquale, Jr. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a son, S. Richard DePasquale and a sister, Nancy M. Belsito. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Monday, May 14, 2007 from 4:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, or to the Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775, both Bristol, RI 02809.
