Sharon K. Ritchie

Sharon K. Ritchie (Cher), 65, passed away on December 15th in Fort Myers, FL. Born in Providence, RI, she resided in Warren, RI for most of her life before retiring to Fort Myers, FL with her beloved dog, Chloe. She spent her career in clerical work for the State of Rhode Island. Auntie Cher, as she was known to those closest to her, was a beautiful and kind soul. She always expressed her love for her family and friends, and was an unwavering source of support and compassion. She enjoyed cooking, and those lucky enough to indulge in her homemade pancakes will tell you they were second to none. Cher was predeceased by her father John Ritchie, mother Louise Ritchie, brother Robert Ritchie, and sister Sandra Souza. She is survived by her brother John (Jack) Ritchie, nephew Jared Souza, nieces Nichole Ramsey and Kristen Mooney, and many godchildren, all of which she loved deeply. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, all donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
