Salvatore Malafronte, Jr., 75, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026 in Bristol. He was the devoted husband of the late Nancy Ann (Vierra) Malafronte for 45 years before her passing in July of 2016.

Born in Fall River, MA and raised in Bristol, RI, Salvatore was the son of the late Salvatore and Genevive Malafronte.

Sal was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Bristol for many years. He worked for the Barrington Public School system for many years in various roles. In his free time, the thing most treasured by Sal were the intimate private moments with his family and friends. Salvatore loved to cook and bake. He was a proud member of his “The Old People” group which met for luncheons and dinners from time to time.

Salvatore is survived by his sons: Salvatore Malafronte, III and Jason M. Malafronte (Jill); his grandchildren: Amanda Malafronte, Samantha Malafronte, and Nicholas Malafronte; his great granddaughter: Brooklynn Deoliveira; his siblings: Ralph Malafronte and Ann Marie DeLucia (Fred Benoit); and many extended relatives and friends.

Salvatore was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy and his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Services will begin with an hour of Visitation from 9:00- 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christine Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol at 11:00 AM. Salvatore will be laid to rest with his wife Nancy at North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.
