Russell Earl Nappi

Mr. Russsell Earl Nappi, age 68, of Academy Avenue, Bristol, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. He was the husband of Dorothy (Lima) Nappi, his wife of 39 years. Born in Providence, RI and a lifelong Bristol resident he was a son of the late Nicholas W. and Mary (Paiva) Nappi. Mr. Nappi was the owner and operator of Russell Nappi Floor Covering in Bristol for many years. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol and he enjoyed playing cards. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Janet Nappi of Warren, Debra Andrade of Bristol, Rhonda Thibodeau of Pawtucket, Jennifer Loranger of Bristol and Jessica Bonneau of West Warwick and four grandchildren, two sisters Marie H. Simard of Warren and Cynthia Carvara of Bristol and three brothers, John E. Nappi of Bristol, Antone Nappi and Jesse Nappi both of Warren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Nicholas W. Nappi, Jr. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Monday, November 8, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
