Rosetta M. De Luca

Rosetta M. (Hughes) De Luca, 77, of Bristol passed away in Newport on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was the wife of the late Ronald D. De Luca for many years before his passing in 2009. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late William and Rosetta (Flynn) Hughes. She was a graduate of Bay View Academy. She worked as a legal secretary until retirement. She enjoyed spending time by the ocean. What Rosetta enjoyed most though was spending time with her family. Rosetta is survived by her children: Rosetta L. Araujo, Robert W. De Luca and his wife Shannon; her grandchildren: Jacob, Ashley, William, Samuel; and extended family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ronald, her parents, and her siblings: Ann Marie Blackburn and William J. Hughes. She will be buried with her beloved Ronald at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Potter League Middletown, RI in her name.
