Roselyn Esposito

Mrs. Roselyn (Vaccaro) Esposito, age 78, of 186 Mt. Hope Avenue, Bristol, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Bernard Esposito, her husband of 58 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of Raffaele and Theresa (Stanzione) Vaccaro. Educated in the Bristol School system, she was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1947. Mrs. Esposito was a secretary for the state of RI in their division of employment and training for 19 years retiring in 1996. She previously was a secretary for Roger Williams University, Bristol. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, loved spending time with her granddaughters and family, enjoyed playing bingo and traveling. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Steven B. Esposito, two daughters, Cynthia L. Esposito and Loren A. Esposito Hadfield and her husband Edward, three granddaughters, Stefani Esposito, Sydney and Ellah Hadfield, a brother, Thomas Vaccaro and his wife, Jean. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
