Roseline A. Ferreira

Mrs. Roseline A. (Rodericks) Ferreira, age 83, of Pagnano St., Bristol, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William Ferreira, her husband of 53 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Roseline (Garcia) Rodrigues. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church. She worked many years for J.T. OConnells Lumber Co. in Bristol. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, visiting with family and friends and spending time with her grandsons. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son William Ferreira, Jr. of Bristol, and her daughter Lyn Brigham and her husband Bob of Portsmouth, RI. She enjoyed a special loving relationship with her adored grandsons, Benjamin and Matthew Brigham. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Dolores (Rodrigues) Graff and husband Byron of East Providence. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Arline Alves and her brother Dominic Rodrigues, Jr. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St. Bristol. Visiting hours Friday, 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to benefit Macular Degeneration Research can be made in her name to Miller Research Fund, c/o Tammy Au, Mass Eye & Ear Infirmary, 243 Charles St. Boston, MA 02114.
