Rose Marie Leary

Mrs. Rose Marie (Rubino) Leary, age 69, of 21 Baker Street, Bristol, died Thursday at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William F. Leary, her husband of 50 years. Born in Providence and a lifelong Bristol resident, she was a daughter of the late Ciro T. and Concetta (Cirillo) Rubino. A graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1958, she was a secretary at the Raytheon Corp. in Portsmouth for 32 years, retiring in 1990. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a member of Hope Circle # 70, Daughters of Isabella, Bristol. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William J. Leary and his wife, Ann of Bristol, four grandchildren, Matthew, Emma, Meaghan and Ethan Leary, a sister, Angelina A. Rubino of Bristol and a brother, Michael J. Rubino, of West Palm Beach, FL. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, November 23, 2009 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM.
