Rose E. Capone

Mrs. Rose E. (Russo) Capone, of High St., Bristol, died Friday, October 30, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Dr. Domenic V. A. Capone, O.D. Born in Bristol, RI and a life long resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Granata) Russo. She worked as the office assistant for her husband. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Green, Rose Evelyn Green, Donna Byrnes, Anjo Riddle and Matthew Capone, sisters; Josephine Favro and Carmela Russo, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition toher husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gennario “Jerry” Russo, three sisters, Concetta Zundell, Mary Cala and Sue Morris. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol,Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting hours Tuesday Morning from 9:00-10:00 AM.
