Rebecca Rinaldi

Mrs. Rebecca (Larice) Rinaldi, age 92, of 75 Greylock Road, Bristol, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Saverio J. Rinaldi. Born in Bristol, she was daughter of the late Felice and Francesca (Minichino) Larice. She was the secretary to the chief of staff at the Providence VA Hospital until retirement in 1978. Previous to that she taught commercial curriculum at the junior high level in New York City for 10 years. After her retirement she held several part time jobs for local doctors, lawyers, Columban Fathers and the Bristol Town Hall. She graduated from Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1934; she also received a degree in Commercial Business from Bay Path Institute in Springfield, MA. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and was a member of the Sunshine Club, both in Bristol and she also loved gardening. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Marzotto and her husband Kevin, of North Easton, MA and a sister, Mary Larice of Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Rescue Squad, PO Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
