Ralph Harold Larson, 88, of Bristol, RI, passed away on September 6, 2026, at the Rhode Island Veterans Home, where he had been a resident since February of this year.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Harold Larson and the late Mable (Lundstrom) Larson.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Larson previously resided in East Providence, RI, and was raised and educated in the Bristol-Warren area. He had a lifelong love for his hometown. He cherished the time he spent outdoors and was happiest when he was boating, sailing, quahogging, or biking along the East Bay Bike Path, where it wouldn't be surprising to see him taking a break to feed the ducks and squirrels.

Those who had the privilege of caring for Ralph in his later years knew him as a kind, respectful, and gentle man who was genuinely grateful for every expression of care and kindness shown to him. He had a sweet nature and a sincere appreciation for those who were there for him, qualities that touched everyone who cared for him.

Mr. Larson was a former member of the Kickemuit Yacht Club, attended URI, and was a member of the local Carpenters' union.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Victoria, and her husband, George; three grandsons; one granddaughter; and seven great-grandsons.

All are warmly welcome to attend a prayer service with military honors on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, RI.

Private interment will be at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Columbarium at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ralph's name may be made to Friends of the Bristol Animal Shelter, 11 Broad Common Road, Unit 155, Bristol, RI 02809.
