Pauline C. Harnois, 74, of Bristol, RI, died Friday, January 12, 2007 at Miriam Hospital following a sudden illness. She was the former wife of Donat Harnois Born in Woonsocket, RI a daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (Bergeron) Ethier. She was a graduate of St. Claire Academy in 1950. She moved to Bristol in 1967 and raised her nine children in the community. An experienced waitress, she served in many of the finest restaurants in Rhode Island. An active member of the Benjamin Church Manor community, she held the position of treasurer. She was an avid cook, and enjoyed sharing recipes. She loved singing and for numerous years she was a member of the Senior Choir. Faithful to her loyal friend and companion, she was always seen walking her dog, Mozart in Colt State Park She is grieved by her surviving children, Kathleen Bradley of Middletown, Michael Harnois of Columbus, GA, Daryl Sousa and Dyanne Gibree of Bristol, Timothy Harnois of Woonsocket, Raymond Harnois of Washington, DC, John Harnois of Virginia Beach, VA and Karen Pacheco of Warren, She leaves behind fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren that she adored and spoiled She will also be missed by her three sisters, Teresa Ethier, Annette Paquette and Lillian Bouvier all of Woonsocket. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Major Steven Harnois Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St, Bristol, RI Tuesday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Marys Church Wood St, Bristol Burial will follow in North Burial Ground overlooking the park she always enjoyed Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Homestead Group (Home for the Developmentally Challanged Adults)200 Pound Hill Rd., North Smithfield, RI 02896
