Patricia A. Silvia

Patricia "Pat" A. Silvia, 82, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Monday, October 9, 2023. Born in Newport, raised in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Olivia (Sousa) Silvia. Patricia graduated from Colt Memorial High School in 1958, and received Bachelor degree from Bryant College. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church in Bristol where she was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. She worked as a Senior Finance Manager for Raythoen for many years. Pat loved to travel, photography, ski and was a member of the Newport SkiClub. She found true happiness in orchestrating all family holiday celebrations. Patricia is survived by her sisters, Mary Lou Anderson and Annette Silvia, sister in law Kathleen Silvia, 16 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Olivia Belmore and her brother Arthur D Silvia. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol from 4-7 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
