Pasquale A. Pirri

Mr. Pasquale A. Pirri, age 77, of 37 Beachmont Road, Bristol, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Rose (Natalizia) Pirri, his wife of 55 years. Born in Bristol, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Francesca (Ciccio) Pirri. A lifelong resident of Bristol, he wintered for many years in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a rubber worker for Carr-Fulflex Manufacturing Co. for many years, retiring several years ago. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol, a member of the Labella Sicilia Society, the Bristol County Knights of Columbus # 379, and was a Bristol Police Special Constable for a number of years. He is survived in addition to his wife by a daughter, Debra A. Pirri and a son, Joseph A. Pirri and his wife Geri, a sister, Leonora Cirillo and a brother, Frank D. Pirri, all of Bristol. Also survived by three step grandsons, Michael, Ken and Bobby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Angelo Pirri and three sisters, Annie Cavallaro, Etta Oliveira and Pauline Rapoza. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Monday, Sept. 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
