Pasquale C. Malafronte

Pasquale C. Malafronte, age 91, of 96 Union Street, Bristol, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, peacefully at home, he was the husband of the late Rose (Altrui) Malafronte. Born in Bristol, RI and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late Onofrio and Mary (Nappi) Malafronte. Mr. Malafronte was a wire worker for 40 years for the Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp in Bristol & Portsmouth. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bristol. He was a member of the Cup Defenders Association, Bristol and had served in the US Army duringWWII. He is survived by a daughter, Patricia L. Malafronte of Bristol and a sister Genevieve “dede” Malafronte of Bristol. Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Frank, Louis, Oney and William Malafronte, a sister Jennie Balzano. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Thursday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141State St., Bristol. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 PM.
