Mr. Norman “Buck” LeBlanc, age 74, of 2 Laurie Lane, Bristol, died unexpectly Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Joann “Sara” (Salisbury) LeBlanc, his wife of 25 years. Born in Pawtucket, and raised in Seekonk, MA, he was a son of the late Arthur and Isabel (Dorian) LeBlanc. A resident of Bristol for 25 years, he previously resided in Lincoln. Mr. LeBlanc owned and operated N. LeBlanc Construction formerly of Lincoln and Bristol for 40 years, retiring in 1999. He is survived in addition to his wife, a daughter, Kathleen M. Murphy of Lynnfield, MA, two sons, David A. LeBlanc of Greenville and Daniel N. LeBlanc of Calhoun, GA, a sister, Margaret Burke of North Providence and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a son, James R. LeBlanc and two sisters, Joan LeBlanc and Jackie Callahan. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Discalced Carmelite Monastery, 25 Watson Avenue, Barrington, RI. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visitation Wednesday Morning from 9:00-10:00 AM.
