Ms Mary Ann Miranda

Miss Mary Ann 'Marwee' Miranda, age 86 of 471/2 Cliff Drive, Bristol, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Ricardo and Deolinda (Medeiros) Miranda. Marwee was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1945. She was a secretary for the Bristol Town Hall for 10 years until retiring a number of years ago. She had previously worked for 30 years for the Raytheon Corp. in Portsmouth, RI. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol. Marwee was the family caregiver, taking loving care of her parents and family member throughout the years. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and their families. She is survived by a sister, Carolyn Morrison, two sisters-in-law, Angie Miranda and Marion Miranda, all of Bristol. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Antonio, John and her twin, Richard Miranda. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Wednesday morning only at 10:00 AM.
