Ms Lee Ann Soares

Ms. Lee Ann Soares, age 45, of 116 Mt. Hope Avenue, Bristol, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence. Born in Fall River, MA and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was the daughter of Joseph A. Soares of Bristol and the late Leonora (Freitas) Soares. She was a Senior Cook for the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol for 30 years, retiring in 2005. She is survived in addition to her father by four children, Rachel Soares, Brett, Amber and Kayla McCarthy, all of Bristol, her maternal grandmother, Georgianna (Sousa) Almeida, a brother, Paul Soares and three sisters, Patricia Phillips, Jacqueline and Caroline Soares, all of Bristol, also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joseph Almeida and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Amelia Soares. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours, Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol.
