Ms Josephine L. Coggeshall

Ms. Josephine L. Coggeshall, age 88 of 1 Overlook Drive, Bristol, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Alice F. (Downey) Coggeshall. She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Class of 1944. She worked as an assembler for 20 years for the former Dixon Corp, formerly in Bristol retiring in 1989. Josephine was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. She is survived by her Godson, Matthew H. White and his wife Sue, of Bristol with whom she had made her home, and their children, Lisa J. Mello and her husband, Thomas, Patrick M. White and his wife, Valerie, Timothy J. White and Andrew L. White and his wife, Rebecca and their children, Maggie, Emily, Ashley, Ophelia, Patrick Jr., Thomas Jr., Connor and Isaiah and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Coggeshall, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
