Ms Grace T. Byrnes

Miss Grace Theresa Byrnes, age 101 of Warren, formerly of Providence, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren, two weeks shy of her 102nd birthday. Born and brought up in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Helen M. (Conley) Byrnes. Grace was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1931 and in her younger days was a Sales Clerk at the former Conleys Jewelry Store in Bristol, retiring in 1974. Grace was a communicant of St. Marys Church, Bristol. She is survived by a sister, Gertrude Dwyer of South Dartmouth, MA and a brother, William P. Byrnes of Warwick and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary R. Byrnes, Helen B. Tattrie, and Frances Newman and a brother, Thomas H. Byrnes, Jr., Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
