Ms Carolyn A. Salzano

Ms. Carolyn A. Salzano, age 72 of Bristol, died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Vincent J. 'Jim' and Grace (Ciociola) Salzano. Carolyn was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1960, Bristol and Bryant College, where she received her Bachelor Degree in Business Education. Carolyn was the business teacher at Bristol High School for over 30 years, retiring in 1994. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially traveling. She is survived by a brother, James J. Salzano and his wife Priscilla of Bristol, three nephews, James J. Salzano of Riverside, Matthew D. Salzano of Bristol and David L Salzano of Los Angeles, CA, a great Nephew, Nicholas Salzano and a great niece, Kiley Salzano. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, December 1, 2014 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 PM.
