Miss Angelina A. “Angie” Rubino, age 86 of Baker Street, Bristol, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her home. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Ciro T. and Concetta (Cirillo) Rubino. A graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1949, she worked in the Assembly and Shipping Departments for Monopearl Jewelry Company, formerly in Bristol for 10 years, retiring in 1990. She had previously worked for the Converse Rubber Company, formerly in Bristol and the former Coats and Clark Company formerly in Warren. Angie was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the former Hope Circle, Daughters of Isabella in Bristol. She loved doing crossword puzzles and making homemade macaroni and sauce for Sunday dinners for family and friends. Angelina is survived by a brother, Michael J. Rubino (Rose) and a brother-in-law, William F. Leary, all of Bristol, five nieces and nephews; Michael Rubino (Karen) of Warren, Karen Bidwell (David) of CT., Gerald Rubino (Dawn) of Barrington, Paul Rubino (Kathy) of MA, and William J. Leary (Ann) of Bristol and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Marie Leary. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, September 19, 2016 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM.
