Mrs. Susie A. Dias of Bristol Woods Drive, Bristol, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Miriam Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William Dias. Born in Bristol, RI on February 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Nevina (Marabello) Cupolo. It was very appropriate that Susie was born on Valentines Day. She had a heart filled with love, kindness, and compassion for her family and friends. Her endless love in helping others will be remembered by many. Susie graduated from Colt Memorial High School in 1944. She worked at the former US Rubber Company as a timekeeper. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was the happiest being with everyone in her family. She leaves one son, William Dias (Suzanne) of San Diego, CA and one daughter, Judy Corain (Dennis) of Rumford, RI. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren; Scott Corain, William Dias, Adrienne Corain, Jennifer Dias and David Dias. She also leaves one brother-in-law, Manuel Costa, two sisters-in-law, Linda Dias (Arthur) and Angie Dias, several nieces and nephews that she holds dear to her heart. Susie was predeceased by her siblings, Philomena Puniello, Alice Cadile, Theresa Costa, John Cupolo and Rita St. Onge. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Saturday morning only starting at 9:00 AM.
