Mrs Rose M. Ironfield

Mrs. Rose M. (Millemaggi)Ironfield, age 81, of Hope Street, Bristol, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was the loving wife of the late Robert P. Ironfield for 55 years, who died this past January. Born in Bristol, and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Abenante)Millemaggi. Rose worked as a secretary for Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Bristol and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Rose will be sadly missed by her children, Mary Ann Metivier and her husband Rene of Bristol, her son Richard P. Ironfield of Warren, a granddaughter Melissa A. Metivier of Bristol and a sister Sr. Concetta Millemaggi, M.P.F. of Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 10:00 AMin Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
