Mrs. Patricia A. Pignataro

Mrs. Patricia A. (Cassidy) Pignataro, age 74, of North Lane, Bristol, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late John P. Pignataro. Born in West Reading, PA she was a daughter of the late John and Sallie (Caramanna) Cassidy, Jr. A resident of Bristol since 2001, she previously resided in Hingham, MA for 33 years. Mrs. Pignataro owned and operated the former The Paperback Exchange in Norwell, MA for 17 years, retiring in the late 1990's. Patricia loved reading, art, the beach, travel, music, theater and movies, but most of all spending time with her nine grandchildren. She is survived by four children; Megan Rossi and her husband Al, of Orlando, FL, Lisa Lamason and her husband, David of Wilton, CT, John D. Pignataro and his wife Jerilyn of West Greenwich, RI and James Pignataro and his wife Shelly of North Andover, MA and her grandchldren, Michael, April, Cara, Troy, Zoe, Devon, Brynn, Ryann and James. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Dillon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, July 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol, RI. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, RI.
